Through comprehensive research and meticulously curating manufacturers, we are striving to mitigate unsustainable and unhealthy suppliers that jeopardize the welfare of employees and customers and the quality and longevity of our products. 


Therefore, LIÉ STUDIO recognizes the responsibility of identifying and acknowledging the appertaining risks and consequences of our supply and value chain. Hereby, LIÉ STUDIO attempts to identify 100% of Tier 1 suppliers, and the vast majority of Tier 2 suppliers.

The majority of our jewelry is produced by manufacturing partners using Sedex to support transparency and responsible practices across areas including labour standards, health and safety, environmental performance and business ethics.

ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised standard for quality management systems, supporting consistent processes, product quality and continual improvement throughout production.

Leather Goods

Leather Working Group (LWG)

The Leather Working Group (LWG) is a multi-stakeholder organization focused on improving environmental best practices within the leather industry. Its certification framework assesses leather manufacturers across areas such as environmental performance, chemical management, water and energy use, and responsible production practices.

Leather is sourced from LWG-certified tanneries.


ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is an internationally recognised standard for environmental management systems, providing a framework for organisations to manage environmental impacts, meet applicable requirements and continually improve environmental performance.

Eyewear

Conformity & Product Compliance

LIÉ STUDIO sunglasses comply with applicable European and UK requirements for personal protective equipment and carry the relevant CE and UKCA conformity markings. The listed styles are covered by an EU Declaration of Conformity.

Raffia

USDA Organic (NOP)

Raffia is certified organic under the USDA National Organic Program (NOP), which sets requirements for organic production, handling and traceability across the supply chain to support consistent organic standards.

Our raffia products are produced by manufacturing partners using Sedex to support transparency and responsible practices across labour standards, health and safety, environmental performance and business ethics.

FSC

FSC certification supports responsible sourcing of forest-based packaging materials and provides traceability throughout the supply chain, helping ensure materials come from certified or controlled sources.
