Founded in late 2021, LIÉ STUDIO is a Copenhagen-based brand created by twin sisters Amalie and Cecilie Moosgaard. With years of experience in the fashion industry, the sisters saw a need for accessories that would cater to the busy woman's everyday uniform, adding a timeless yet elevated touch to any outfit. The collections reflect the brand’s vision of creating pieces that can be worn over and over again.

With a fast-paced lifestyle in mind, the Co-Founders and Creative Directors have designed versatile jewelry and leather pieces that effortlessly adapt to various occasions throughout the day without compromising on the choice of materials and quality. 

As LIÉ STUDIO continues its journey to become a global brand, Amalie and Cecilie Moosgaard’s personal uniforms will serve as a source of inspiration for the brand’s future collections.

Copenhagen-based brand LIÉ STUDIO, was born from the ethos of creating an unlimited universe of timeless elegance, and impeccable artistry, embodied in enduring products.  

Our creations envision modern classics designed with intention, versatility, and uncompromising quality. Each garment is meticulously crafted to stand the test of time, while every collection serves as true staples, season after season.

We are constantly attempting to broaden our knowledge of the products that we are producing and their appertaining environmental impacts. Through comprehensive research and meticulously curating manufacturers, we are striving to mitigate unsustainable and unhealthy suppliers that jeopardize the welfare of employees and customers and the quality and longevity of our products.  

Therefore, LIÉ STUDIO recognizes the responsibility of identifying and acknowledging the appertaining risks and consequences of our supply and value chain. Hereby, LIÉ STUDIO attempts to identify 100% of Tier 1 suppliers, and the vast majority of Tier 2 suppliers.

As a globally recognized brand, engaging in a global supply chain, we are indubitably committed to taking action and executing the environmental and social responsibilities that follow along with this choice. In attempting to do so, we strive to cooperate with high-quality manufacturers that reflect efficiency, but simultaneously are working under social security. 

Serving as one of the primary long-term sustainability goals for LIÉ STUDIO, the company must ensure that the supply chain builds upon transparent and consistent social and work-related conditions. Through the implementation of internationally recognized certifications, LIÉ STUDIO strives to integrate and fulfill these requirements by transforming practices into measurable and quantifiable actions.

Leather WorkingGroup (LWG):

The Leather Working Group (LWG) is a multi-stakeholder organization that was established to promote environmental best practices within the leather industry. It provides a framework and certification system to assess the environmental compliance and performance of leather manufacturers and promotes sustainable and responsible leather production.

The key objectives of the Leather Working Group include reducing the environmental impact of leather production, promoting the responsible use of chemicals, minimizing water and energy consumption, and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental regulations. By certifying leather manufacturers and promoting best practices, LWG aims to improve the sustainability and transparency of the leather industry as a whole.

SEDEX:

Supplier Ethical Data Exchange

All jewelry is produced by SEDEX certified manufacturers, which implies that the manufacturer has committed to ethical sourcing, sustainable practices and social responsibility such as setting fair and safe working conditions, minimizing environmental impact, ensuring workers health and including transparency and compliance.

BSCI:

Business Social Compliance Initiative

The Business Social Compliance (BSCI) works to improve good working conditions among suppliers around the world. BSCI is a leading supply chain management system, equipped with a code of conduct aimed at assisting companies to drive social compliance and improvements within the factories in the gobal supply chain.

IS0 14001:

IS0 14001 is a standard designed to help organisations manage their Enviromnetal responsibilities. IS0 14001 supports the companies focus on sustainability and provides the framework for the companies efforts to enhance the enviromental performance.  

GOTS certified:

Global Organic Textile Standard

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification is a globally recognized standard for organic textiles, covering both.ecological and social criteria. It sets strict requirements for the entire production chain of organic textiles, from harvesting raw materials to environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing processes, labeling, and distribution.

FSC:

The FSC-certificate provides security and documentation that ensures the forest is managed in a responsible manner. This includes practices such as protecting biodiversity, maintaining the long-term health and productivity of the forest and respecting the rights of forest workers. The FSC certificate ensures traceability of products all the way from the forests to the point of sale.
Forest Stewardship Council
