London is calling!

London is always a pleasure coming back to, and our most recent visit was even more joyful as we were shooting the campaign for our LIÉ STUDIO x NET-A-PORTER exclusive capsule collection.

Through our many visits to the beloved city, we have finally curated a cute little London guide which we definitely think you should consider if you are planning a future trip. From lovely lunch spots to cute Sunday markets, we got you covered with our favorite places.

Eat here:

Straker’s

A gem in Notting Hill. The restaurant looks phenomenal, and the food is delicious. Biggest recommendation, but make sure to make a reservation in fairly good time.

The Pelican

This new and contemporary pub in Notting Hill, is a go-to for hearty dishes with lots of local produce. The vibe is wonderful, and is also perfect for a beer or drink in the bar – but very busy in the weekends.

Layla Bakery

After walking through the market on Portobello Road you end up at Layla Bakery, where they make some of the best baked goods in London. The outdoor seating is wonderful doing sunny days, and I highly recommend their Cookie and Pain au Chocolat. Also heard they make amazing sandwiches for lunch.

Granger & Co

This breakfast and brunch restaurant have a few locations across town. It is exactly what you’re craving if you’re on the lookout for a brunch. I can highly recommend their pancakes.

Buns From Home

The perfect cinnamon bun, highly recommend stopping by one of their spots in London.

The River Café

An iconic classic London place for a reason. Their Italian food is delicious – perfect for lunch on sunny days.

 Portobello Road Market

The Portobello Road Market is not secret, but still worth a scroll. Expect tourists and crowded areas, but if you have patience, you’ll find great antiques, beautiful old coats and good produce. I love scrolling through the many antique jewelry stalls for inspiration.

Harvey Nichols

If you’re in the mood for some shopping head to Knightsbridge in Chelsea and explore the department stores. You’ll find LIÉ pieces at Harvey Nichols on the ground floor.

Daunt Books

There is something about London and bookshops. I love browsing through the many shelves of books and Daunt Books, who have a few different locations in London, is one of my favorites.

London Parks

A thing I love about London is exploring the many parks. I personally love the bigger parks such as Hyde Park but I also love the smaller parks in central London such as St James’s Square, where you’ll see all the white-collar workers head down for their lunch break.
