CELEBRATING 2 YEARS BIRTHDAY!
What a journey, and what a ride!
It feels both weird and overwhelming to say that LIÉ STUDIO turned 2 years on November 17th.
Sometimes we really do have to pinch ourselves to understand that many of our goals and dreams have been reached already. But the longing and encouragement for growing and expanding the universe of LIÉ STUDIO have only increased. 2 years have not only brought us new relations and acquaintances, but also really opened our eyes for all the love and support we have received. Something that we are forever grateful for.
Therefore, we want to take this occasion as an opportunity to express our gratitude towards all of you who support and wear LIÉ STUDIO all around the world. Every time we see someone walking around the streets of Copenhagen or along our travels wearing LIÉ, we still pinch ourselves and get so thrilled!
Reflecting back on how we have evolved as creative directors and co-founders, our knowledge and understanding of the core values and DNA of LIÉ keeps growing. As time goes by, we realize more and more the importance of staying true to the minimalistic and elegant design of our jewelry. The last year we have launched 4 drops, which have meant a lot to us. Every drop is meticulously curated and designed, always adding new silhouettes to the core collection.
We have taken this occasion as an opportunity to reflect upon some of the achievements and challenges that we’ve faced during the last two years. Reflecting on the last two years have been very rewarding and scary at the same time. Scroll down to read a little interview we did with each other on the occasion of LIÉ STUDIO's 2 years birthday!
Cecilie: How do you feel a change from last year to now?
Growth. Both physically and mentally. We have grown so much as humans and learned so much from the many aspects of creating and growing a business. Physically we can also feel a massive change. We have grown our amazing team, which has been so rewarding and wonderful, but we have also grown worldeide in our expansion with more loyal customers and followers and with more wonderful retailers across the globe.
Amalie: What are your greatest accomplishments after 2 years? What makes you the most proud?
It’s so difficult to say. The accomplishments have been many, and I often think everything is moving so fast that we don’t always realize every little accomplishment every day. But if I have to point something out, I’m mostly proud of our team and all the hard work they put into LIÉ STUDIO every day, and how we as a team has been able to grow the business on all parameters.
Cecilie: What have been the biggest challenge?
The biggest challenge has been keeping up with the demand and growth and staying true to ourselves and the visions of LIÉ STUDIO. Things are moving fast, and finding the fine line in evolving and but not getting swept away, is always a challenge that we are very cautious about.
Amalie: LIÉ has expanded its Core collection; What is you favourite piece of jewelry so far?
Aw it’s like picking your favorite baby. I’m (Cecilie) personally really thrilled about our latest holiday drop with the Olga Bracelet and the Louise Earrings. They are a perfect LIÉ stable. I (Amalie) love all our new pieces, but I keep coming back to the Caroline Earrings and our Elly set. They will never get old and I’m still very proud of our first pieces.
Amalie: What are the 3 most remarkable things the last 2 years have taught you?
Patience, trust and lots of teamwork
Cecilie: What can people expect from LIÉ in the future?
In the future you should expect a higher physical presence from us, more new products and in general a continuesly evolving LIÉ STUDIO, that will continue to expand and grow our brand and the identity of LIÉ
Amalie: What are the most exciting things happening in the coming year?
Uh I wish we could tell everyone about it already. We have some really really exciting projects coming up in 2024 that we can’t wait to reveal. But until then we can only say that we are so excited to share it with the rest of the world.
